Helen Koski

Helen M. Koski (nee Pykkonen), age 90 of Chisago City, formerly of Esko, MN passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018.  Survived by her loving husband, Paul of 71 years and their children, Karen Wold, Mike (Gail), Connie Koski, Kevin (Jen), Mark (Lisa); four grandchildren, Jonathan (Rachel), Daniel (Tanya), Kristen Unger (Ryan), Matt Mahaney; seven  great-grandchildren; siblings, Don (Ardy) Pykkonen, Edna McKeever, Mavis (Dick) Singpiel; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.  Helen was preceded in death by her sister, Milly Virgin and nephews, Guy Virgin and Curt Singpiel.  Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Parmly on the Lake Chapel, 28210 Old Towne Road, Chisago City, MN.  Family will greet friends from 10:30 am until time of service.  There will be a second memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22nd at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 4 Elizabeth Ave., Esko, MN.  Family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.  Interment at St. Matthews Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Samaritan’s Purse, Mission Aviation Fellowship of Canada, World Mission Prayer League, or a charity of your choice.
