Helen Companion

Helen Ann Domanico Companion, age 99, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away March 20, 2022 in Shoreview, Minnesota.  Helen was born February 15, 1923, in Osceola, Iowa the daughter of Herman and Nora Robins.  She is survived by her sons, Frank, Joe, Jon Domanico; daughters, Melody (Peter Steineck) Domanico, Joy Funaro; sister, Jeannie McNabb; grandchildren, Melissa Hauser, Paul Funaro; great grandchildren, Mitchell, Megan, Mary Hauser.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim Companion Sr., sisters, Billie Itzen, Dorothy Propst; grandson, Michael David Dowdall; who are all waiting for her to celebrate the life they were all given and the promised reunion with our Lord in the kingdom of God.  Alleluia.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the Church of Saint Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at the church.  For those unable to attend, mass will be live streamed at https://youtu.be/yuurZe_3UHQ Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
