Gerald ''Jerry'' Fernholz, age 63, of Scandia, MN formerly of North St. Paul, died November. 8, 2002. Preceded in death by his mother Marcella (Platt) Fernholz & nephew Scott Fernholz. Survived by wife of 42 years Karen; 3 sons, Chris, Jerry & Bill (Marlys) Fernholz; 8 grandchildren; Angie, Tara, Jami, Shannon, Jake, Matt, Sarah & Tom; his father Chris Fernholz; 2 sisters, Lorna (Maurice B.) Collette & Charlotte (Russ) Berg; brother Ron (Dawn) Fernholz; mother-in-law Genevieve Garvick & many loving family & friends. Funeral services 1:30 PM Tuesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 S Shore Dr., Forest Lake, MN. Visitation 4-7 PM Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N Shore Dr., Forest Lake with a 7 PM prayer service & also 1 hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.
