Gerald V. Deneweth, age 57 of Forest Lake, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 13, 2022. Jerry was born March 14, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Lester and BettyAnn (nee Timian) Deneweth. He graduated from Spring Lake Park High School and went on to further his education at Minneapolis Technical College earning a degree in social work. He worked for many years in the Forest Lake area as a driving instructor. Jerry loved the outdoors. He was most at home in nature, riding his motorcycle and enjoying God’s creation. In addition to the outdoors, he very passionate about music. He and his sister, Clarine would look for any opportunity to go to a local concert or find a spot to listen to a band. Jerry was a practical joker, looking for any chance to pull a quick one on an unsuspecting family member or friend. Above all, Jerry loved his family. Even when distance and circumstances happened in life, his boys and family were always at the top of his mind and filled his heart.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He will be forever missed by his sons, Ryan (Vanessa), Sean (Ashley), Jordan; grandchildren, Brecken, Jackson, Rhodes; sister, Clarine (Jeff) Jacobson; nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Melissa (Gerit), Dylan (Malea); great niece, Alexis; great nephew, Jackson; four-legged daughter, Miley; fiancée, Trisian Lynn; Trisian’s family, Savanna Ann, Thomas Jon; other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at the American Legion Post 225, 355 West Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake, Minnesota.
