Gary Wathen

Gary E. Wathen, age 83, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died peacefully on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Hazel (Perkins) Wathen; granddaughter, Jordan Perleberg; son-in-law, Tony Poliseno.  He will be deeply missed by his wife of 41 years, LaVonne; children, Cheryl Bennett, David Wathen, Jacqueline Poliseno, Terry (Ann Larson) Wathen, Carma Puffer, Sharon (Wally) Schendel, Katherine (Michael) Ryan; 18 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service at the funeral home.  Interment at Victor Hill Cemetery, Wyoming, Minnesota.
