Florence Whalen

Florence H.Whalen, age 85, of Linwood, Minnesota passed away on May 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Florence Prokosch; husband, Thomas Whalen; son-in-law, Glenn Bohnen; and siblings, James, John, Donald, Joan, Richard, Lois, June, Irene, and Thomas. She is survived by children, Terrie Bohnen, Glen Whalen, Todd Whalen, Jennifer (Doug Bender); six grandchildren, Matthew (Jodi) Bohnen, Christine (Guy Humphrey) Berg, Melissa (Andy Gnerer), Michael Whalen, Daniel Bender, Andrew Bender; nine great-grandchildren, Chandler and Tyler Bohnen, Matthew and Emilee Berg, Grace Humphrey, Brayden and Hannah Gnerer, Madeline and Brook Whalen; siblings, Charles (Barbara) Prokosch, Catherine Asher.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Family will greet family and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
