She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; granddaughter, Leah Havens; sister, Evelyn Ward.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia (Paul) Havens, Laura (Duane Jr.) Neis; son, Terry (Joan) Lee; grandsons, Andrew (Nicola) Havens, Quinten (Amanda) Neis, Aaron (Amber) Havens, Jared Neis, David Lee, Kevin Lee; great grandchildren, Ethan Havens, Aiden Havens, Ryan Havens, Samuel Havens; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Florence was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children were her jewels: rubies, emeralds, and diamonds.
She was known as 'Flossie the Waitress' at the Village Inn, where she waited part-time for 25 years, under 4 different owners.
Memorial service 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2005, FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 886 North Shore Drive. Visitation 1:00 PM until time of service.
Inurnment in Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials are preferred.
