Eric Chambers

Eric Chambers, age 24, passed away in a tragic auto accident, Thursday, February 5, 2022, while working in California.

Eric grew up Chisago City, Minnesota and graduated from Chisago Lakes High School in 2015.  While golf was his passion, he pursued his education and career in Wind Energy.  Employed by Vestas as a Wind Turbine Technician, Eric traveled the country repairing Turbines.  This nomadic lifestyle fostered his love for nature, travel and photography.  His free time was filled with golf and additional travel adventures with many friends.

Eric was a kind and thoughtful person who touched many lives.  He will be forever missed and remembered for his sense of humor, contagious laugh, sincere smile and joy for life.

Preceded in death by great grandmother, Ruth Rhoades; grandparents, Dale and Frances Ohlgren, Gerald Chambers, David Reisling; aunt, Peggy Ohlgren Severson; cousins, Sean Ohlgren, Andrew Rhoades.

Survived by his father, Joseph Chambers; mother, Diane Chambers; brother, Ryan Chambers; grandmother, Kathleen Chambers; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 21, 2022, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  Social distancing, Hawaiian shirts and golf attire are encouraged.  A private family interment will be held at Sunrise Cemetery, North Branch, Minnesota at a later date.
