Elmer Stromquist

Elmer A. Stromquist, age 93, of Red Wing, Minnesota; formerly of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died Thursday, December 2, 2021 while surrounded by his family.  Elmer proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII.  Following his honorable discharge, he began a lifelong career as a truck driver and home remodeler.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Axel and Anna (Carlson) Stromquist; son, Richard; daughter, Nancy Nielsen; daughter-in-law, Mardell Stromquist; great grandson, Judd Stromquist; siblings, Einar Stromquist, Filmore Stromquist, Gladys Paul.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce Stromquist; sons, Geoffrey Stromquist, Charles Schultz; grandchildren, Beth (Justin) Seever, Daniel Stromquist; great grandson, Jacob Stromquist; sister, Dorothy Hansen; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
