Doyle Ceroll

February 28, 1940 — December 28, 2022

Forest Lake

Doyle Ceroll, age 82, of Forest Lake, passed away on December 28, 2022. He was born to Arthur and
Viviana on February 28, 1940, in Veblen, South Dakota.

The third of eleven children, Doyle grew up on a farm in New Effington, South Dakota. At the age of 19,
he met Georgine Anderson at a dance; the two were married in July of 1960. They moved to Fridley,
Minnesota, where Doyle was a warehouse maintenance worker for Vincent Metals. In 1961, Clyde was
born, and their second child, Connie, was born in 1964. A few years later, Doyle and his family bought a
farm in North Branch, MN, where he at one point proudly raised 72 head of Beefalo, chickens, barn cats,
and his dog, Cinder. When his grandchildren came along, Doyle taught them the value and the joy of
hard work and farm life. After 36 years, Doyle retired from Vincent Metals. He and Georgine moved to
the Ozarks, where they built their own home on Table Rock Lake. Although he never cared for fishing, he
enjoyed taking his kids and grandkids out on the boat tubing or water skiing. Doyle also spent his days in
his woodshop, creating furniture and anything else his kids or grandkids asked him to make for them.
Wanting to be closer to family, Doyle and Georgine moved to Forest Lake, MN, in 2018, where he was
able to spend more time with his family, whom he loved.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Georgine; children, Clyde (Melanie), Connie (Russ); grandchildren,
Alana (Nathan), Kali (Josh), Nicholas (Leah), Holly (Jordan), Emily, Anthony; great grandchildren, Barrett,
Aliyah, Jonah, Callan, and one baby on the way; and siblings.

A private celebration of Doyle’s life will be held at a later date
