Dorothea "Dottie" LaMusga

Dorothea “Dottie” Grace LaMusga, age 92, of Mounds View, Minnesota, formerly of Chisago City, died peacefully following a brief illness on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  Dottie was an amazing woman, devoted to her faith and her family.  She will be remembered for her love of sending cards and letters to her many relatives and friends on a weekly basis.  Her heart was fulfilled through sharing of her time and talents and giving generously to family and friends.  She was at peace in nature, watching the birds, spending time on the water and tending to her flowers.  Those who knew and loved her are blessed to know she is now with her beloved husband, Frank; her parents, Albert and Grace Stoeckmann; and her siblings, Ruth, Helen, George and Harold.  Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Karen (Lawrence) Hiles; former son-in-law, Jerry Voegeli; Frank’s children, Wayne (Jane) LaMusga, Warren (Deserie) LaMusga, Wallace Lamusga; grandchildren, Monte Voegeli, Taylor (Tony) Buffington, Tracey (Cijo) Peterson, Emily (Jerry) Judkins, Betsy (Andy) Egofske; great grandchildren, Grace, Alex, Duke, Bennet, Havlock; brothers, Robert (Elizabeth) Stoeckmann, Roger (Carol) Stoeckmann; other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends from 12:30 p.m., until the time of service.  Interment will follow at Faith Lutheran Memorial Garden.
