Donald Anderson

Donald A. Anderson, age 94, formerly of Marine on St. Croix, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2016. Donald was a WWII Vet, serving in the U.S. Navy as Torpedoman's Mate 2C. He was a longtime salesman with American Hoist & Derrick. Donald was a member of Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, VFW #1350, Tin Can Sailors, and Norske Torske Klubben. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, June; sister, Ruth; brother, Roland. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; step-son, David (Carolyn Jones-Saete) Saete; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Arlington Hill Lutheran Church, 1115 Greenbrier Street, St. Paul. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Arlington Hills Lutheran Church, Lakeview Hospice, or Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel.
