Dennis Lee Sanders

Dennis Lee Sanders of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away on July 30,2026. He was 79 years old.

Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on March 16, 1947. Graduated from Central High School. He married wife, Judy Reigstad, on June 17, 2006, and spent 26 happy years together.

He enlisted in Navy in 1965 and served his country.

Dennis' love was rebuilding old cars.  He was a member of MSRA, attending car shows like “Back to the Fifties”, running Scholarship Committee and inspections on old cars. He also began an MSRA car club in Brookings, SD and it is still a great event to attend.

He did karaoke and had a wonderful voice.  Dennis also dressed and impersonated Elvis Presley, sang and danced country.

Dennis is survived by wife, Judy R Sanders; his children, Aaron (Mitzi) of Shakopee, MN, David (Shelly) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Brian (Molly) Hudson WI; eight grandchildren, Casey, Holly, Erica, Cabot, Samantha, Brady, McKayla, and Bodie. Judy's children, Justine (Mark) Criswell Preston of Hallow, NY and Julie (Mark) Hallee of Fairfield, ME; four grandchildren, Shaun, Brandon, Bergen and Emma; brother, Jack Sanders.

He was preceded in death by parents Raymond and Francis Sanders.

Dennis will be missed by so many.

Burial will be held on September 15,2026 at 10:30 am at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St Paul, MN.
