Dennis "Pete" Peters, age 66, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on November 19, 2017. Pete worked for 44 years in the propane industry. Above all, he loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Ward. Survived by his beloved wife, Kathy; children, Jamie (Angela), Jason (Lisa), Jody (Joseph) Schnabel, Joshua (Mandy); grandchildren, Lindsey, Cristian, Tyler, Zach, Ava; mother, Virginia Horton; and sister, Bonnie (Stephen) Smith. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-7 PM, Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue 10-11 AM, Saturday at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
