Debbie Lynn Parker

Debbie Lynn Parker, age 67, of Linwood Township passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2023.

Born on September 30, 1956, Debora grew up in a world filled with creativity and compassion. Her love for quilting became a cherished part of her identity, as she would spend countless hours meticulously stitching together pieces of fabric, weaving tales of love and beauty. Her quilts were not just mere pieces of art; they were expressions of her kind heart and gentle soul.

Debora's Wednesday gatherings with her high school girlfriends were treasured moments that filled her life with joy and laughter. The love and support of her dear friends sustained her throughout the years.

Christmas held a special place in Debora's heart. She radiated the spirit of the season, exuding contagious joy and generosity. Becoming Mrs. Claus brought her immeasurable happiness as she spread holiday cheer, donning her red velvet suit with grace and kindness. Her dedication to bringing smiles to the faces of children and adults alike was a testament to her selflessness.

Debora's unwavering commitment to her ministry made a lasting impact on those who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Her caring nature knew no bounds. She had an innate ability to make everyone feel loved and valued. Her warmth and generosity touched countless lives, and the impact she made will always be remembered.

She is preceded in death by her beloved dog, Maverick.

She is survived by husband, Michael; son, Troy (Kelly) Kline; mother, Betty (Earl) Schlegel; sisters, Kim Marberry, Kathi (George) Radke, Jodie (Jon) Simon, Lisa (Brian) Anderson; sister in law, Linda Koerner; granddaughter, Kaytlin; many nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held 4-7 PM, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Mattson Funeral Home, Forest Lake, MN 55025.  A time of sharing will take place at 6 PM during the gathering at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at 11 AM, on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Linwood Cemetery, 23207 Typo Creek Dr, Linwood, MN 55079.
