Daniel "Dan" Daniels

Daniel “Dan” Daniels, age 62, of Bemidji, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2021 while surrounded by his wife, daughter, son, and daughter-in-law. Dan Served in the United States Army from 1979 – 1986. Dan enjoyed his time as an industrial technology teacher and he completed his Master’s of Education Degree in 2019. Dan loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping. He especially loved woodworking, playing with his dogs, and watching classic movies. Above all, Dan loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Julianna; his children, Shawnesy (Bruce), Joey (Claudia); grandchildren, Jace, Haynie, Vaeh, Teagan, and Addisyn; his mother, Betty Daniels; sister, Debbie (Dave) Johnson; and his nieces Margie and Emily and nephew Dylan. Additionally. He is also survived by his best friend, Dusty (Lisia) Rhoades, and their children, Taya, Leah, Ella, and Gunnar.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Deer Hunter’s Association.

A celebration of Dan’s life will be held from 2-5pm, on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN.
