Cory A. Olson

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Cory Allan Olson on September 26, 2025 after a long battle with illness.

Born on April 5, 1959, Cory was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by Mary, is wife of 45 years; his son, Michael (Candace) Olson; his daughters, Danielle (David) Standa, Jeni Olson; five beautiful grandchildren; four-legged companion, Georgie. He is also survived his sisters, Dana (Mike) Jacobs, Jodi Olson; his brother, Brian Olson; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gale and Margaret Olson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m., until the time of service. Immediately following the service there will be a toast to Cory at EJ’s Bar, 4823 Viking Blvd. NE, East Bethel, Minnesota 55092.
