Clifford I. Frandle Jr.

Clifford I. Frandle Jr., age 79, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Born on July 15, 1946, in Austin, Minnesota, Cliff was the son of Clifford and Dorothy (Lange) Frandle. He and his family grew up in Forest Lake back in the days when the town was a vacation spot; living upstairs in the old Commercial Club (now Zoukmaya). He later proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, an experience that strongly impacted his life.

On May 18, 1985, Cliff married his sweetheart, Sandra Ensrud. Together they made memories; many of them at the casino in Hinckley or Las Vegas and visiting family in Arizona. Cliff treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved, and he will be remembered as someone who had a great sense of humor, appreciated life's simple pleasures and valued the relationships he built along the way. He was a devoted husband, proud father, loving grandfather, caring brother, and loyal friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy Frandle; and his brothers-in-law, George Amersbach, Tom O'Gara, and Gerry Clausen.

Cliff is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sandy; his children, Shawn Frandle and Dana Frandle; his cherished grandchildren, Hannah Schulte, Dakotah Schulte, and Sam LaChapelle; his siblings, Ed (Ruth) Frandle, Connie Amersbach, Joan O'Gara, Pam Clausen, Fred Frandle (Sue Bennett), and Lawrence (Teresa) Frandle; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A celebration of his life will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, July 10 2026 at the American Legion Post 225, 355 West Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake, Minnesota.

Cliff will be forever remembered with smiles and love.
