Christina "Chrissy" Marie Strantz, age 55, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on April 2, 2025. She was born on September 1, 1969, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Ron and Karen Strantz.

Christina’s daughter, Ashley (Tyler), and her grandchildren, Louis, Josephine, and Amelia, were the center of her life. She was affectionately known as "Mimi" by her grandchildren, and they brought her endless joy. Family was everything to Christina, and she loved nothing more than spending time with them.

An adventurer at heart, Christina loved glamping and the outdoors, though she could do without the pesky bugs! She also enjoyed reading, traveling, and having a good time at any party. A lover of all things pink, music, candy, and Diet Coke, she had a lively and joyful spirit that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Christina proudly served in both the Navy and Air Force Reserves, embodying strength, positivity, and dedication throughout her life. Her resilience and unwavering strength were evident in everything she did, and she was a woman who always faced life with a smile.

She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Tyler); grandchildren, Louis, Josephine, Amelia; parents, Ron and Karen Strantz; sisters, Melisa (Kevin) Werhan, Theresa DeMarais, Samantha (Corey) Frank; nieces and nephews, Morgan, Lexie, Dylan, Corbyn, Bryce, Brandyn, Sebastian; and many other family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00-4:00 PM, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Shoreside Bar & Grill, 55 Lake Street S, Forest Lake.  A luncheon will be held 1:00-2:30 PM with a Time of Sharing starting at 2:30 PM.  

Christina's favorite color was PINK!  We invite everyone to wear pink in her honor! 

Christina’s bright spirit and kind heart touched many lives, and her legacy of love, joy, and positivity will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
