Charles Richard Nadon, lovingly known as Chuck, passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 61. Born on May 26, 1962, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Chuck was the beloved son of Richard and Carolyn Nadon.
Chuck grew up in White Bear Lake, where he graduated from White Bear Lake High School, Class of 1980. He continued his education and pursued HVAC at 916 VoTech, earning his certification in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Chuck dedicated 36 years of his life to Apollo Heating and Air, where he started as a valued employee before eventually becoming a co-owner with his partner, Eric. His expertise and commitment to the industry left an indelible mark on the company and all of his co-workers.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Chuck had a deep love for the great outdoors. He found solace and joy in fishing and hunting with his friends. Known for his quick wit and contagious sense of humor, Chuck had a way of making everyone around him burst into laughter with his unique and sometimes crazy jokes. Many will recall everything Chuck owned would be labeled “CHUCK’S DO NOT STEAL”.
Above all, Chuck treasured his family and friends. He cherished every visit with the “Kill ‘Em and Grill ‘Em Lodge” crew and meeting his friends for meals.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Carol; first wife, Pam; step-son, Phil Todd; sister, Kathy Thibault; nephew, Jason Thibault.
Chuck was truly one-of-a-kind, and his memory will forever live on in our hearts. We will fondly remember his laughter, his warmth, and his unconditional love for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sue; step-children, Tara (Brent Jackson) Vanderwerf, Andy (Heather) Todd, Janna (Jennifer Wood) Todd; grandchildren, Josie, Mason and Gunner Moore, Grace and Abby Todd, Clyde Jackson; siblings, Terri (Lee) Momsen, Bob (Kathy) Nadon, Bill (Gail) Nadon; brother-in-law, Howard (Kim) Thibault; many beloved nieces, nephews, family and dear friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Genevieve Parish Community Center, 6995 Centerville Road, Centerville, Minnesota. The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m., until the time of mass in the Community Center. Private interment will be held at St. Genevieve Catholic Cemetery, Centerville, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
