Charles "Chuck" Brown

Charles “Chuck” E. Brown, age 85, of Shafer, Minnesota, peacefully passed away on January 22, 2024.

A devoted family man, Chuck found solace and joy in the company of his family. Chuck also adored spending time with his grandchildren. Their laughter and playfulness brought immeasurable happiness to his days, and he cherished every moment spent creating memories with them. His love and guidance will forever be etched in their hearts, serving as a reminder of the remarkable man he was. In addition to his human loved ones, he had a soft spot for his four-legged grandpuppies.  
Chuck had a deep love for the outdoors. Fishing and deer hunting were his passions, his natural surroundings becoming a sanctuary where he could escape the complexities of daily life.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Evan and Antoinette; and brother, Richard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon; sons, Robert (Shelly), Gary; daughter, Donna; grandchildren, Bianca, Dylan, Carter, Ayla, Lilly, Dalton; brother-in-law, Ted (Sharon) Kogler; sister-in-law, Linda; nephew, Mike; second daughter, Erica Olson; and the grandpuppies.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
