age 80 of Forest Lake, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 20, 2009. Carol died of a fast-growing lung cancer. She was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Leone Strand; daughter, Corrine Peterson; and cousin, Joanne Pederson. Survived by husband Casimir; sons Gary (Marilyn), Lenny (Joyce); nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; cousins, Frank Joachim, Ron Olson, Susan Hagen, Kathy Ball, January Drake, and Gretchen Kimura. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 23, 2009, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
