Carl Larsen, Jr

Carl "Larse" Larsen, Jr. Age 76, of Ham Lake After fighting for over a year to overcome the effects of strokes, Carl went Home to the Everlasting. He began life as a farmer, then went on to work in road construction. In 1962 he moved to Ham Lake and began working at Cornelius, retiring after 30+ years. Preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; brothers, Alvin, Vernon; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Carl is survived by his son, Jerry (Maria "Lupe") Thompson; grandchildren, Carl and Julie Thompson; sister, Verna "Jean" Barber; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation 5-8 p.m., with 8:00 p.m. prayer service, on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Funeral Service, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Garden of Memories Chapel, 3669 Logan Avenue, Waterloo, IA . Visitation one hour prior to service.
