Brad Richard

June 29, 1949 - July 15, 2025

Brad Richard, 76, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025. Throughout his life, Brad walked faithfully in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, showing humility, kindness, and joy in all, he did.

Born on June 29, 1949, in Washington, D.C., Brad was the second of seven children. During his childhood, his family moved several times, living in different parts of the United States before eventually settling in Jupiter, Florida. He grew up in a close-knit family full of love-and all the shenanigans seven children could come up with.

Brad attended the University of Florida and remained a proud Gator for life-Go Gators! After college, he moved to Minnesota, where he met his wife, Joanna Froyum-Richard. They were married for 45 years and had one daughter, Sara.

Brad's love for music was more than a passion-it was a calling. He shared his gift through performances at nursing homes and assisted living facilities, bringing joy and comfort to countless residents. His desire to serve led him to become a minister, offering worship services and spiritual care to those same communities. He lived with quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering faith.

When Brad passed on, the storm raged, yet he went with the same calm and quiet peace he had always carried within him. His steady presence, kind heart, and deep faith left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Brad will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and all the lives he touched throughout his journey.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna Froyum- Richard; daughter, Sara (Matt) Tetrault; and grandchildren, Jack and Kallie Martinson. He is also survived by his siblings: David (Mary) Richard, Andrea Richard, Susan (Roger) Danis, Mark (Kelly) Richard, and Dana (Nancy) Richard, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Beverly Richard, and his brother, Paul Richard.
