Bess Isabelle Dahl

Bess Dahl, age 90, of Forest Lake, passed away on June 18, 2024.

Bess grew up in a large family with 16 siblings. They didn’t have much, but they had each other. She had a wonderful marriage to Carl Dahl followed by two children, Susan and Kenneth. Then came seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides her family and wonderful friends, her passion and her legacy - teaching children Bible Stories. Many of those children, now adults, have told her those years and those stories influenced who they are today. Her impact on children will be carried on for generations. She loved Jesus and wanted everyone she knew to love Him too.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dahl, her parents, and 12 siblings.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Edwin) Werneke; Kenneth (Liz) Dahl; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and four siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Maranatha Church, 24799 Forest Blvd. N, Forest Lake, MN.  Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  Privat Interment at Itasca Cemetery, Grand Rapids, MN.
