Bernard "Bud" Meyman,age 74, of Linwood
Born September 27, 1933 to Bernard & Florence (Brever) Meyman in Browerville, MN, he died November 7, 2007 at home.
Bud was a dedicated Mpls. Police Officer, retiring after 31 years of service.
He married Joan May on May 18, 1953. Bud enjoyed and inspired many children during his 20+ years of volunteer coaching. He also enjoyed people, traveling and many outdoor activities.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Greg; and sisters, Viola Kotula and Gen Bentz.
Bud is survived by his wife Joan; sons, Wayne of Rush City, Roger (Anita) of Isanti; Bernard "Butch" (friend, Pam) Ham Lake; Tom (Becky) of Ogilvie; Grandchildren, Stefani, Emily, Kelli, Michael, Hazel, Julie, Robert (Kelly), Bernard "Buddy", Ben; step-grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Jordan; great granddaughter, Kennedy; and many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 4-7 PM, Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment in Linwood Cemetery.
