Barbara Jean Johansen

Age 84, of Scandia, Minnesota, passed peacefully on September 19, 2025, surrounded by family. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years Dale, her children Cary, Laura, and Jodi; her siblings: twin brother Barry, Ted, Jim, Shirley (Shirley’s twin sister Sharon who has passed), David, and Patty; 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was a local artist known for North Shore and outdoor paintings, along with teaching both adults and children in drawing and painting.

Memorial service will be held Friday September 26th, 2025, at 2 PM with a visitation beginning at 1 PM, at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9300 Scandia Trail North, Forest Lake, MN 55025.
