Arthur Kubiszewski

Arthur M. Kubiszewski, age 57 of Chisago City, Minnesota and his nephew, Steven M. Kubiszewski, age 34 of East Bethel, Minnesota, died tragically, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in an automobile accident.

Arthur was born June 24, 1961 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of Joseph and Marlene Kubiszewski.  Arthur grew up on Rice Street, St. Paul, later moved to Coon Lake, East Bethel and last year Chisago City, MN. He enjoyed the outdoors, garage sales and helping where he could. He was often found with his beloved canine son, Felix by his side.  He thoroughly enjoyed his nephews and nieces and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Clara Kubiszewski, John and Lucille Maloney; parents, Joseph and Marlene Kubiszewski; brother, David Mark Kubiszewski.  He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him including Ashley and Jeremy Valenzuela; siblings, Joseph Jr. (Therese) Kubiszewski, June Greeley, Jeffrey Kubiszewski (Cindy Petersen), Lucille (Brian) Fremo, Gary Kubiszewski; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Steve and Arthur were heading to a much-anticipated ice fishing trip when the car they were traveling in was involved in a collision with a semi-truck.  They were on Highway 46 and County Road 36 near Deer River, Minnesota when a semi lost control.

Visitation will be on Friday and Saturday with a combined memorial service, celebrating both of their lives at 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.  The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m., until the time of service at the funeral home.  A second gathering will be held from 2:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday at Bradshaw Funeral Home 1078 Rice Street, Saint Paul.
