Annunziata “Tina” (Siciliano) Pucci
January 30, 1928 – July 9, 2025
With deep love and enduring admiration, we celebrate the extraordinary life of Annunziata “Tina” Siciliano Pucci, a beloved matriarch, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at the age of 97, surrounded by her daughter and granddaughters.
Born in Acri, Italy, on January 30, 1928, Tina carried the heart of her homeland wherever she went. In 1955, with courage and determination, she journeyed to America with her beloved husband Anthony “Tony” Pucci and their three children, settling in St. Paul, Minnesota. There, they welcomed their fourth child and planted deep roots that would flourish for generations.
Tina worked at West Publishing in downtown St. Paul for over 32 years, where her diligence and excellence earned her multiple awards—and a legendary Thanksgiving turkey she proudly picked up every year, long after retirement. She and Tony built a warm and welcoming life together, first in St. Paul, and later at their cherished cabin on Forest Lake, where they retired and continued creating lasting memories with family and friends.
A true Italian matriarch in every sense, Tina was the heartbeat of the Pucci family. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and unforgettable meals—where no one left hungry and everyone left feeling special. She taught generations how to make her treasured recipes: pasta broccoli, zucchini rice, fried broccoli and cauliflower, potato croquettes, and a bounty of baked cookies and breads. She hosted countless dinners, always insisting, “Mangia! Have more!”
Tina was known for her quick wit—often sprinkled with Italian flair—her boundless energy, and her gift for storytelling. She left an impression on everyone she met, effortlessly blending strength, humor, and deep compassion.
Faith was the cornerstone of Tina’s life. A devout Christian, she prayed the rosary every single night, offering love, protection, and wisdom to all who knew her. Her advice, simple yet profound, remained steadfast throughout her life: “Pray, pray, pray.”
Though her body grew older, Tina’s spirit remained vibrant. She lived independently well into her 97th year, a testament to her strength, her faith, and what she proudly described as her “special vitamin regimen and being home.”
Tina was preceded in death by her beloved Tony, her son-in-law, Sidney; her son, Gaetano; grandson in law, James; and her daughter, Angelina. She is survived by her devoted children, Frank (Kathy) and Mary (Steve); her grandchildren, Tony, John, Laurie, Ann, David, Frankie Jr, Gabriella, and Jimmy; her great-grandchildren John, David Jr, Michael, Tyler, Megan, Lily, James, Kaytlyn, Max, Levi, and Carter; and loving relatives in Italy.
Her circle of friends was vast—because to know Tina was to love her. Special thanks to her caring team, especially Kimberly, Desiree, Theresa, Joe, Paula, Sue, Paul and all those who visited and cared for her with warmth and kindness in her final chapter.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025. A Rosary will be held at 7 PM at the funeral home. On Monday, July 14th, 2025, there will be another visitation at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Forest Lake, MN.
Tina was one of a kind. Her love, legacy, and unmistakable spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her. We take comfort in knowing she is now reunited with her loved ones in heaven, watching over the family she so deeply cherished.
“Ti vogliamo bene, Tina. Thank you for everything. We will love you forever.”
