Alex Drew Schiefelbein Age 21 of Forest Lake Earned his angel wings on November 10, 2016, after a courageous 9 year battle with a brain tumor. Preceded in death by grandfather, LaVerne Schiefelbein. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Sally; brothers, Scott (Allie), Brandon (Jenni), Dustin (girlfriend, Ashley Hadfield); niece, Brooklyn; nephew, Nathan; grandparents, Arlene Schiefelbein, Bruce and Mary Parker; and special friend, Taylor Angelo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at The Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 5-9 p.m., Monday, with 8:30 p.m. Prayer Service at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue 9:30-10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Brain Tumor Association or Children's Hospital and Clinics of MN.
