Russell Jackson

Russell Jackson, age 94 of Scandia, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 30, 2010. Russell served 36 years on the Scandia Town Board and was proud to be a lifelong farmer. He was a charter member of the Scandia-Marine Lions Club. Russell is preceded in death by his three brothers, Iver, Arnold, Warren Jackson; sister Alyce Anderson; brother-in-law Loren Kaphing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years Lois; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 3, 2010 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m., until the time of service at the church on Friday. Interment at Elim Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Elim Church Elevator Fund.
