Richard Holl

Holl, Richard J.,Of Forest Lake formerly of Roseville, Age 81, Died at the Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills on October 11, 2003. Richard was born March 16, 1922 in St. Paul and was raised in Forest Lake. He served in the U.S. Airforce and graduated from St. Thomas College. Richard worked for 35 years as a defense contract auditor and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and American Legion. Richard is survived by his wife, Lorraine of 54 years, children: John (Joan); Richard, Michael (January), Kathryn (Leonard) Thurmes, James (Joyce) and Timothy, grandchildren: Jen, Joe, Jack, Kalyn, and Maggie Holl and Joe Thurmes, siblings; Robert (Mabel), Donald (Snookie), Leo (Marlyn), Ellen (Warren), Nadine (Whitey), Marguerite (Bill) and Rosalie (Tom), brother-in-law, Warren Johnson, Many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Ray and Jane and sister, Mary Johnson Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Wednesday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive in Forest Lake, and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Wake service at 7 PM Tuesday.
