December 7, 1934 — September 22, 2012

Mildred "Millie" Legus, age 77, of Stacy, passed peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer on September 22, 2012. Grew up in St. Paul, Graduated from Murray High School and University of Minnesota. Married John Legus April 6, 1957 and they were blessed with 3 loving children. She enjoyed travel, working at Forest Lake Pizza Hut, volunteering at church, and socializing with family and friends. Preceded in death by father, Malcolm McKirdy, mother Malvina Thoreson McKirdy, brother Malcom Mckirdy Jr. Survived by loving husband, John "Jack"; children, Linanne (Chuck) Lano, Nancy (Rynold) Peck, Kenneth Legus; son-in-law, Scott Barriger; grandchildren, Corey (Trish) Perry, Kyle Perry, Lauren Perry, Aaron Barriger; great-grandchild, Connor Perry. She will be deeply missed. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 5459 E Viking Blvd., Wyoming. Visitation 5:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake.
