Jerry Joyce

Gerald T. “Jerry” Joyce, of White Bear Lake, formerly of St. Paul, passed away on December 4, 2009 at age 67.  Jerry was a lover of life, an exceptional friend, an active advocate for animals (especially dogs), an avid art and music aficionado and a clever jokester. Jerry retired from the State of MN in 2005 after 46 years of service. He was a highly respected professional who was a mentor to many others and an icon in the area of contracts. The impact he had on promoting fair, open and ethical contracts for the State of MN is his legacy. He was preceded in death by mother, Rosella and father, Walter. Jerry is survived by brothers Robert (Rosalie), Patrick (Patricia), sister Sharon (Duffy), nephews  Mike; Kevin; Keith, niece Holly, grand nephews , grand nieces and many close friends who will miss him dearly. A gathering to celebrate Jerry’s life will be held from 3:30pm to 6:30pm Monday December 14, 2009 at Embassy Suites (Ballroom), 175 East 10th Street, St. Paul, MN 55101, Parking: $2 in lot and on-street parking is also available.
