Dick Anderberg

December 25, 1941 — January 7, 2014

Richard "Dick" Anderberg, age 72 of Forest Lake, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 07, 2014 following a short battle with cancer. Dick was born December 25, 1941 in Staples, Minnesota the son of Ernest and Muriel (Hammond) Anderberg. Dick was employed in highway construction his entire life, he enjoyed hunting and track and field sports. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Muriel (Hammond) Anderberg. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 43 years, Sandy; sons, Chris and Phil; grandchildren, Andrew and Alex; siblings, Marcia Herrick and Larry Anderberg; many cousins; the Ashbach family; and dear friends. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church. Masonic Rites will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Friday by Lodge #344. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials are preferred to Sunnyside Lutheran Church, 22745 Typo Creek Dr NE, Stacy, Minnesota 55079, Faith Lutheran Church or the Forest Lake Masonic Lodge.
