Carlyle Larson

Carlyle D. Larson, age 79 of Linwood Township, died peacefully while surrounded by his family on Monday, July 18, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Palmer and Lillian Larson; sons, Brad and Michael; sister, N. Camille Lorbiecki; brothers-in-law, Douglas Thun, Larry Lorbiecki. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife Lila; daughter, Connie (Erik) Denk; grandchildren, Karl Larson, Scott Larson, Natalie Denk, Nicholas Denk; daughter-in-law, Anne Larson; siblings, LaVoi Thun, Darryl (Barb) Larson, Vangie (Don) Carlson. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Sunnyside Free Lutheran Church, 6633 227th Ave NE, Stacy. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Linwood Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168. Fisher House Foundation donates "comfort homes," built on the grounds of major military and VA medical centers. These homes enable family members to be close to a loved one at the most stressful times - during the hospitalization for an unexpected illness, disease, or injury.
