He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife Mary Ann; grandson Patrick Morgan; two brothers; one sister.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Kathryn (Thomas) Ryan, Patrica (James) Morgan, Beverly (Richard) Schaaf, Holly (Gregory) Dunsmore; grandchildren, Shannon (Robert), Jennifer (Will), Marno (Mike), Shawn (Julie), Joseph, Jessica, Tonya; great grandchildren, Joshua & Jordan Swanson, Will & Morgan Amos, Nicholas Morgan, Heart & Aurora Roberts.
Billy proudly served his country as a bombadier in the United States Air Force. He was part of the China, India, Burma Theater during WWII. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, which he was awarded as a result of the injuries he received when he was forced to parachute from his B-24 airplane that was shot down over China. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting and gardening. His generous and kind spirit was always shown during the growing season when he looked forward to sharing his produce with family and friends.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital, Mpls, in appreciation for their invaluable help to our family or to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
